What is the 5G terminal for on iS7?
iS7s rated for 22kW and smaller have a terminal board with a 5G terminal. The 5G terminal is the common for the analog inputs and outputs. See below. This is considered "Basic IO".
The below analog IO's utilize terminal 5G as a common.
- V1
- I1
- AO1
- AO2
There is also a CM terminal on these same terminal boards. CM is the common for all of the digital inputs (P1 ~ P8) and the 24V supply.
.75-22 kW (control terminal block)
Note that 30kW and larger iS7s use a different terminal board. In this case CM is common for all IO, analog and digital. This is considered "Isolated IO" .
