Using Up-down operation on the G100

The G100 can be programmed to increase or decrease speed with push-buttons or switches. This is called "Up-down operation". The VFD will follow the speed reference programmed in frq until a digital input programmed to "27 - U/D Enable" is closed.  The UP (increase) input would be programmed to "17-UP". The DOWN (decrease) input is programmed to "18 - DOWN".

Example:
drv= 1 Fx/Rx-1
frq=
P1 In65= 0 - Fx
P2 In66= 1 - Rx
P3 In67= 27 - U/D Enable
P4 In68= 17 - UP
P5 In69= 18 - DOWN
The main reference programmed in frq takes priority until the "U/D Enable" input is closed.

Ad65 "U/D Save Mode" gives the user the option to save or forget the last frequency reference. The default is set to "0 - No". Changing this setting to "1 - Yes" will store the last reference after removing the run command, a fault trip, or power cycle.
