TOR auto-reset function

How does the auto-reset function work?

The auto-reset function allows the device to automatically return to normal operation after a trip condition is cleared. Once a trip occurs, the unit begins a cooling period, the duration of which may vary depending on factors such as ambient temperature, duration of overcurrent, and the magnitude of the fault. Typically, the reset occurs automatically within a few seconds to about one minute. There is no limit to the number of times the auto-reset can activate—as long as the reset mode is set to AUTO. The device will continue to reset itself automatically after each trip without requiring manual intervention. This helps reduce downtime in environments where continuous operation is critical.
