Single Phase Wiring for Overload Relay (TOR) & GMP
The TOR (Thermal Overload Relay) is designed for three-phase use, but it can also be used for single-phase applications.
However, when wiring for single-phase, the connections must be made in series as shown below.
For our EMPR (GMP) Relays
Connecting a single-phase load to a three-phase GMP is not recommended because it may result in a phase loss trip.
