This article explains that the S100 and the S100 NEMA 4X enclosed AC Drives programming and option card capability is identical.

Background:  The S100 NEMA 4X AC Drive has an optional Input Disconnect included in our stocked drive.   There is another option for S100 NEMA 4X enclosed without the input disconnect - has just different ITEM #.    Also the keypad is not removable in the S100 NEMA 4X enclosed AC Drive.  Please refer to LSE America Product Portal reach out to us directly (found at the end of this article). S100 NEMA4X  Is factory set for Continuous Torque Mode (CT) or (HD).  Cannot be set to Variable Torque (VT) or (ND) mode.

S100 Standard IP00 and IP20 Drive Motor Thermal Protections:  S100 has capability for many motor applications.  User can set the Motor Thermal Protections modes for either; Normal Duty (ND) which is for Variable Torque application (VT), typically Pump and Fan, or Heavy Duty (HD) which is Continuous Torque applications (CT), for machines, conveyors, grinders, etc.

Setting the Motor Protections Group parameter PR.04 to a "0" for (ND) or a "1" (HD) can only be performed in the S100 AC Drive.   The S100 NEMA 4X AC Drive is always set to a "1" (HD) mode and cannot be changed from factory.
