Problem Description

A parameter in the drive is set to IP20, but it should be set to IP66.  The drive cannot recognize the correct fan configuration with the incorrect setting.

 

Detecting the Problem

If the S100 is displaying the below code on the keypad, perform the steps in the Correction Process.

Correction Process

1. Press the RIGHT arrow to display “dr. 0”  

      2.  Press the DOWN arrow until “dr.95” is displayed  

      3.   Press ENTER

      a. Enter the code: 2809 and press ENTER 2 times (dr.95 will be displayed if Enter was pressed twice and      the parameter was saved)

      4.    Press the LEFT arrow until “MA.0” is displayed  

      5.   Press the DOWN arrow until MA.58 is displayed  

      6.   Press ENTER

      a. Change the parameter to a “1” and press ENTER 2 times (MA.58 will be displayed again)

      7.   Power cycle the drive

      8.   Complete. Run the VFD and verify the Fan warning is gone.
