MCCB: UTS800 and UTS1200 OCR descriptions
This article explains the OCR-II and OCR-II ERMS product selection process when building and purchasing our LS Electric UTS800 and UTS1200 breakers.
Names and Meanings:
• Communication (X): This means that the type of OCR / Trip unit you have selected has NO Communication functionality

• Com. (X): This means the same thing as Communication (X) but just typed shorter
• Outer CT (G/F): This means that the OCR / trip unit you have selected has Earth Leakage Protection and NOT Ground Fault Protection through the use of a ZCT or external CT
• Outer CT (G/F): This means that the OCR / trip unit you have selected has Earth Leakage Protection and NOT Ground Fault Protection through the use of a ZCT or external CT
• Outer CT: This indicates that the unit is compatible with
external CTs for external current measurement or protection
purposes
• Communiction (O): This means that the type of OCR / Trip unit you have selected has Communication functionality
• Communiction (O): This means that the type of OCR / Trip unit you have selected has Communication functionality
• Com. (O): This means the same thing as Communication (O) but just typed shorter
Note:
Just to clarify, NCT cannot be used. Only ZCT and other
external CTs can be connected to the unit. Our MCCBs do not support NCT.
