Purpose

The purpose of an interphase insulation barrier is to ensure adequate insulation performance between phases, helping to maintain electrical safety and prevent phase-to-phase faults within the breaker assembly.

Application Notes

• Interphase insulation barriers are assembled and shipped with the UAW draw-out breaker body and the UAW cradle.

• For the UAL-S type, the interphase insulation barrier is not supplied separately and is not required for the specified configuration.
