Setting Drive Parameters for International voltages and frequencies 

There is a known issue with DriveView9 (DV9) version 1.3.00 that does not allow parameter setting international utility and/or motor data in DV9 interface utilizing the LSE AC Drive RJ45 port.   Data may include the following: input voltage/ frequency,  

We have preliminary response from HQ concerning this DV9 issue.  “RJ45 Port on all LSE AC Drives is designed for keypad communications, so that there is some special calculation is included.”  Refer to the following below. 

 In short, the fix would be the following:

Inexpensive fix would be to purchase a cable adaptor [RJ45 Female to terminal block]. 

This new connection would utilize the drive control terminals S+ and S- connections.

TB creating a color-coded Black & Red 18 AWG leads with hookup wire to correspond to S+ and S- terminals. 

  • PIN#1 (RED wire to S+) and PIN#8 (BLACK to S-).
  • Those wire end(s) to drive could be ferruled or pre-tinned.
  • DV9 USB Convertor Cable S100/ iS7, ITEM# 6490353 plugs into the below RJ45 adaptor (As EXAMPLE) sourced on AMAZON. 

 Inexpensive AMAZON Modbus adaptor.  two versions that should work below:
