I need to run my PID faster than 60 Hz
For applications that require more pressure out of a pump or more flow out of a fan we can overspeed the motor slightly above the 60Hz base frequency. It should be noted that torque drops off at a rate 1/f when running above base frequency. Therefore, we cannot overspeed the motor too far over base frequency. See the below graph.
Below are a couple of parameter sets for running a motor at 63Hz.

- DR20=63Hz
- IN01=63Hz (if using an analog input)

- AP29=63Hz
- DR20=63Hz
If a speed limit is being used, such as AD26, this must also be set to the new maximum speed.
