How to use MOP for MCCBs:Customers will find themselves using an LS motor operator in functions that involve PLCs or the need to automate the on/off process of an MCCB. Below are the steps necessary for installing the motor operator.
- Make sure the handle of the MCCB is in the off position. The motor controller will not fit on properly otherwise.
- Take out the four screws that come with the MCCB and set aside
- Making sure the on/trip/off indicator is facing you place the unit over the MCCB. The screw holes should line up with the screws you just took out.
- Unlatch the plastic casing over the terminal and set aside.
- Using a 24V power supply connect the + and - leads to P1 and P2. Make sure not to mix up the polarities or the machine will not work.
- Use S1 as your common and jump to S2 to turn and S3 to turn off.
