How to use MOP for MCCBs:
Customers will find themselves using an LS motor operator in functions that involve PLCs or the need to automate the on/off process of an MCCB. Below are the steps necessary for installing the motor operator.

  1. Make sure the handle of the MCCB is in the off position. The motor controller will not fit on properly otherwise.
  2. Take out the four screws that come with the MCCB and set aside
  3. Making sure the on/trip/off indicator is facing you place the unit over the MCCB. The screw holes should line up with the screws you just took out.
  4. Unlatch the plastic casing over the terminal and set aside.
  5. Using a 24V power supply connect the + and - leads to P1 and P2. Make sure not to mix up the polarities or the machine will not work.
  6. Use S1 as your common and jump to S2 to turn and S3 to turn off.
