How does the M100 and G100 connect to DriveView?

The M100 and G100 have a couple options for connecting to DriveView 9 software.
When using either of the below cables your baud rate in Driveview 9 should match the baud rate on the VFD set at CM.03

Be sure to set the connection type to "Modbus-RTU" and the com port baud rate setting to match CM.03.


Option 1: The most direct and easiest way is to use the below USB to Serial Cable.

Take note that the cable is "USB to RS485". The S100 cable is very similar but is not compatible.

Option 2: A 3rd party RS485 USB converter may be used. The below example would require wiring the + and - terminals on the adapter to S+ and S- terminals on the VFD.
