H100 Broken Pipe Detection

H100 Broken Pipe Detection

The Broken Pipe feature monitors the VFDs output speed and the PID feedback. When speed is too high and pressure (feedback) is too low we can assume a pipe is broken.

Programming
  1. Enable broken pipe detection at parameter PRT60. You can select "Warning", which will allow the VFD to continue running. Alternatively, you can trip the VFD by selecting "Free run" or "Decel".
  2. Program the detection level in PRT61. PRT60 is a % of setpoint. Assume your setpoint is 60PSI. If you set this parameter to 50%, you detection level becomes 30PSI.
  3. PRT62 sets the delay time before the VFD takes action. The range is 0-6000 seconds.
  4. You may also program a digital output relay to turn ON when the pipe break occurs. Set OUT31~36= 28 - Pipe Broken.
