REH Type Shaft width for MCCB rotary handles
See the below measurements for MCCB rotary shaft widths. This document is meant to eliminate confusion and help match the correct shaft to handle and breaker combination.
Note that this documents refers strictly to REH type shafts. EHU type shafts and mechanisms are physically different and not compatible/interchangable. Therefore, an EHU type shaft will not work with a REH type handle and vice versa.
The shaft width for REH-0 (UTE100) is 10mm (~3/8”).The shaft is the same width for REH-2 (UTS150/250) is 10mm (~3/8”).
The shaft width for REH-3 (UTS400/600), 14mm (~9/16”). Though the width is the same as the REH-5 shaft, it is exclusive to the REH-3 handle and mechanism and NOT interchangeable.
The shaft width for REH-5 (UTS800/1200) is 14mm (~9/16”). Though the width is the same as the REH-3 shaft, it is exclusive to the REH-5 handle and mechanism and NOT interchangeable.
